Historic VININGS

Since its origin in 1838, Vinings, Georgia has maintained its distinct sense-of-place and retains the uniqueness of a small town and quaint village.  Located in an historic area between the Chattahoochee River and the1840’s location of the former Western and Atlantic Railroad,   Vinings continues to preserve its charm, character, and history while offering a high-end, low density residential community in a strategically located area of metropolitan Atlanta.  Although not incorporated, the “village” has always had a strong identity with its historic structures, boutique shops, gourmet restaurants, period architecture, and wooded residential areas.  History has given the community an obligation to preserve and maintain this legacy.
