The Vinings Community Conservation Alliance (VCCA) is a community organized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation formed to create and fund a long range master plan for Vinings. It will establish criteria for development and community improvement projects.
Strategies will be developed to play a protective role in preserving Vinings’ uniqueness, character, charm, and, history. This community-created blueprint will be a guide for zoning and land use, as well as streetscapes, traffic, and public areas.
Since its origin in 1838, Vinings has developed into a special place offering the feel of a small town with a quaint village. History has given the community an obligation to protect and maintain this legacy.
This website, now under design, will offer details about the master plan in keeping with historic preservation, community identity, and retention of a special quality of life.
